Simple, fun Fall gift wrapping idea for a male…

002001

I always struggle with gifts for a man or boy.  I want to make the packages special and unique, but not fancy and frilly.  I found these leaf doilies at the Dollar Tree and thought they would be a perfect add on to these gifts for my husband.  I crinkled the leaves to give them more dimension.  I spelled out “Happy Birthday” on the leaves and taped them to the packages.

It was the perfect added touch!  AND SO EASY!!!

Fancy, yet simple, Fall gift wrapping with fake leaves…

If you have been following my blog then you know how much I LOVE gift wrapping and making pretty packages that will make anyone feel extra special.  Here I used fake fall colored leaves and added them to the top of some gifts.  I tied the stems of the leaves with the ribbon.  So fancy, yet to simple!

Rainbow Tulle bows…

014 015

I created a rainbow tulle bow for a fundraising event.  I used all of the colors in the rainbow.  I held them all in my hand as I created the bow.  Then, as I separated and fluffed the tulle, I made sure to keep the colors in order.  See my previous post “Tulletally awesome bows” from February 2014 in “Gift Wrapping” on how to create tulle bows.

Sticker fun on gifts that are being shipped…

If you are shipping a gift to someone, it is difficult to put a big fancy bow on the gift.  It makes the packaging larger or it will get smashed during transit.  I love to use stickers for these gifts.  Here I used stickers from The Dollar Tree and created a flower garden gift for a 5 year old girl.  After the stickers were in place, I covered the package with brown shipping paper.  You can imagine the excitement when she started to open this gift!!!

Sweet baby girl wrapped gifts…

As I have stated many times, my LOVE is creating pretty wrapped gifts for people.  I have such an amazing sense of accomplishment as I create pretty gifts to give.  I LOVE using tulle & stickers as embellishments.  Here I have wrapped a baby girl gift for a friend…

I used tulle, rick rack ribbon, pink & white wrapping paper, and hand/feet stickers.

Gift wrapping strange shaped items…

Sometimes I want to wrap a gift that won’t fit into a box easily.  If the gift is long and narrow, creating a “candy” type wrapping works well.  It is incredibly easy to do!

Fold the wrapping paper long wise around the gift and tape.  Leave the ends open.  Use ribbon to tie up the ends.  Start by bunching up the wrapping paper on the end.  Tie the ribbon and you are done!

Father’s Day wrapping with newspaper…

Father’s Day is quickly approaching!  I don’t know about you, but my “Man” isn’t into fluffy & cute, so I came up with a cleaver wrapping idea for his gifts.  I used the classifieds from the newspaper.  I even made embellishments for them.

Wrap a gift card before sending it in a greeting card…

How many of you have ever wrapped a gift card before putting it in a greeting card?  I get it, it’s another step, when simply putting the gift card into the greeting card is quick and easy.  I also feel that it is a nice touch for the recipient to still have a gift to open.  You may want to try it.  You can add a sticker to the wrapping paper for added décor…
